Reports suggest that actress Cheryl Hines has given her husband, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a firm demand to relocate to Washington D.C. after their marriage was rocked by a cheating incident. Hines, who is 59 years old, is worried that if she remains in Hollywood while her husband is in D.C., his known tendency to flirt may lead to him getting involved with other women.
An insider shared with the Daily Mail that
Hines is quoted as saying, “Cheryl has serious doubts about Bobby being in D.C. by himself, even if it’s only part-time, with so many attractive women and Kennedy admirers around while he adjusts to his influential new position.”
The insider continued,
“So she’s given him a strict ultimatum – move me or else.”
Hines’ representative responded to the Daily Beast, saying,
“I have a strict policy to never comment on my client’s personal life.”
This ultimatum comes in the wake of accusations against the health secretary, claiming that he engaged in inappropriate behavior by exchanging explicit messages with a woman much younger than him as recent as September of last year.
Olivia Nuzzi, 32, a former Washington correspondent for New York Magazine, developed an unexpected relationship with Kennedy while covering the 2024 campaign. This alleged affair led to the end of Nuzzi’s two-year engagement with Ryan Lizza, Politico’s chief Washington correspondent.
Despite rumors of divorce, Hines has chosen to stay with him. Sources reveal that Hines is “still recovering from the emotional shock and pain” caused by her husband’s self-described “lust demons.”
The couple currently owns a $6 million estate in Brentwood, L.A., but sources claim that “Cheryl is willing to give up that glamorous lifestyle to become a political wife, move to D.C. immediately, and live in trendy Georgetown to keep a close eye on Bobby.”
