The iconic singing competition show American Idol returned with its first episode on ABC, introducing a new judge in former winner Carrie Underwood, who replaced long-term judge Katy Perry. Underwood joins Lionel Ritchie, Luke Bryan, and host Ryan Seacrest for the latest season.
The premiere episode featured a surprise appearance by Brian Littrell from the Backstreet Boys. Littrell wasn’t there to perform but to support his son, Baylee Littrell, who impressed the judges with an original song. Fans can watch Baylee’s performance online.
If you missed the whole broadcast last night, here’s how you can watch the season premiere of Idol, as well as upcoming episodes.
