Thornton police asking for help in solving February double homicide

THORNTON, Colo. — The Thornton Police Department is asking for help in solving a double homicide that occurred last month.

On the night of Feb. 26, just before 11:15 p.m., emergency services were called to a house fire in a neighborhood located near E. 160th Ave. and York Street. At the scene, authorities discovered Kendra Anderson, 58, and Chad Anderson, 55, who had tragically lost their lives due to what seemed to be gunshot wounds.

Thornton PD investigates double homicide after home damaged by arson

Investigators concluded that the incident was a double homicide, and the fire was intentionally started. As of now, no arrests have been made, and the Thornton police have not disclosed any information regarding potential suspects.

Individuals who have any information about the event are urged to contact Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867 (STOP) to provide details anonymously. Informants may even qualify for a reward, and there is also an online submission option available.
