Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes sparked engagement speculation after Robach stepped out with a large jewel on her ring finger.
Amy Robach, 52, made an appearance with her 47-year-old boyfriend at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards in Hollywood on March 17. She showed off a large sparkly ring on her left finger at the event.
Robach and her boyfriend, who is also a former cohost on GMA3, were first linked romantically in November 2022 after they were spotted together on several occasions. They posed together on the red carpet with Holmes wrapping his arm around Robach.
Us Weekly has reached out to the pair’s representatives for comment.
Robach looked stunning in a blue one-shoulder gown and confirmed her relationship with Holmes in a September 2024 episode of the “Amy & T.J.” podcast where she mentioned they were living together. The ring on her finger was a gorgeous jewel surrounded by diamonds, catching the light and shining brightly.
The outing came after the couple recently shut down marriage rumors, per People. Speaking to the outlet at the New York City premiere of Cirque Du Soleil’s Luzia on March 6, Robach said, “The truth is my mom even asked me [if we were married] because we wear our [fitness tracking] Oura Rings. She thought that maybe we had actually gotten married and not told her, and just were wearing our rings on the other finger. I was like, ‘Mom, I would definitely tell you if that were the case.’”
Holmes also chimed in during the chat, echoing Robach’s sentiment. “We’re not going to do that, Mom,” he said at the time.
In December last year, the pair discussed marriage on their podcast, with Robach making it clear that she didn’t want to get engaged on Christmas Day. While responding to fan questions over the pair getting engaged at the time, Holmes was quick to shut down speculation. “No there will not be, obviously, for anyone who is wondering — there won’t be a Christmas Day proposal,” he said on the December 25 episode.
The journalists formed a friendship as colleagues prior to launching a romance, documenting their shared love of running via social media in 2021. In November 2022, three months after Robach reportedly separated from former husband Andrew Shue and one month prior to Holmes and former wife Marilee Fiebig filing for divorce, photos of Robach and Holmes holding hands were published by the Daily Mail.
Robach and Holmes didn’t address the scandal on air at the time, but did appear to hint at the drama just days later on the December 2 episode of GMA3, quipping that they needed “words of wisdom” and joked about their “great week.”
Since exiting the morning show, the couple have cemented their relationship, launching the “Amy & T.J.” podcast in December 2023 and regularly appearing in one another’s social media posts.
