Vanderpump Rules icon Stassi Schroeder isn’t the only one making a splash on Vanderpump Villa Season 2. In a trailer that Hulu dropped today, Lisa Vanderpump is welcoming the #MomTok squad from The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives into her Italian castle — but will one of the married ladies strike up a romance with the help? The trailer surely teases that something could be on the horizon.
Hulu is truly putting in the work, combining their most-watched unscripted premiere of 2024 (The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives) with the sophomore season of Vanderpump’s Below Deck-like reality series.
“They’re a little bit naughty in their playtime,” Vanderpump says about the stars of #MomTok.
In a game of “Never Have I Ever” with the castle staff, Demi Engemann — who’s married to The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City alum Angie Harrington’s ex-husband — brings up threesomes, while a single Layla Taylor straddles one of the staffers.
Marciano Brunette, whose relationship with co-star Hannah Fouch was a focal point in Vanderpump Villa Season 1, also seems to catch feelings for Engemann during her stay.
With Engemann asking if he’s allowed to make a move on the guests, Brunette says in his confessional, “With Demi, there was just instant connection.”
During a one-on-one conversation, Engemann tells him, “There’s still so much unresolved. It’s been up and down, up and down,” while Brunette asks if she’s “living with regret.” While we’re not exactly sure what she’s talking about — whether it’s her friendships in #MomTok or her marriage — the two look awfully close for comfort when they hug and Brunette kisses the side of her head.
With some new faces and some returning, this season of Vanderpump Villa surely looks like a dramatic thrill — especially with Schroeder making her grand return to reality television.
“Remember when I used to tell you don’t get involved in other peoples’ business? Now, I want you to do the exact opposite. Snooping,” Vanderpump says, to which Schroeder excitedly replies, “I love this.”
