A Florida man was arrested earlier this month he pointed a gun at another bar patron when karaoke night went awry.
Aaron Jablonski, aged 34, has a criminal record that legally prohibits him from owning a firearm. Despite this restriction, he is facing charges of aggravated assault and illegal possession of a firearm by a felon, as per the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office.
Reports indicate that Jablonski was inside the Overtime Sports Bar in Clearwater on March 15 when he became agitated due to a malfunctioning karaoke machine. Following the incident, he went outside where he confronted another bar patron who attempted to defuse the situation.
Subsequently, Jablonski brandished the prohibited gun from his waistband, aimed it at the individual, and menacingly uttered, “I don’t f****** care.”
Fortunately, he didn’t pull the trigger.
Jablonski “racked a round out of his gun” as the other man went inside and called 911.
He as arrested later that night and held on a $40,000 bond until his release three days later. He was given a no contact with the victim order as well as being barred from the club.
Law&Crime was not able to determine what felony prevented Jablonski from owning a gun.
