'Long Live the Intifada'—Hate Continues at Columbia U As Faculty Holds 'Emergency Vigil'

The inmates appeared to be running the asylum once again Monday as faculty members held an “emergency vigil” while a flyer from some nutball outfit named the Columbia Palestine Solidarity Coalition demanded a “maskless Monday” to protest mask bans.

If there was ever any question that masks were more of a Marxist, controlling, virtue signaling device (and a way for “activists” to hide their faces) than an effective COVID deterrent, that pretty much answers the question.

As Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) once said about then-President Joe Biden, “Go to Amazon and buy a spine online”:

In another post, they wrote: “Solidarity with Columbia University Medical Center (CUMC) for Palestine. Keep wearing your mask on campus! Fight repression & protect your community.” How exactly does wearing a mask fight repression? To many of us, masks are a symbol of repression.

Not to be outdone, radical faculty members of course had to get in on the act:

A group of people continued marching and circling around the main gate of Columbia University on Monday afternoon, banging loud drums and chanting, “Long live the intifada.”

Their actions come shortly after Columbia University professors held what they called an “emergency vigil” in response to the college’s agreement to implement a host of policy changes, including overhauling its rules for protests and conducting an immediate review of its Middle Eastern studies department following demands from the Trump administration.

The group gathered outside the university’s gates on 116th Street and Amsterdam Avenue, holding signs that read “defend democracy,” “defend teaching” and “Columbia, fight back.”

Though the arrest of prominent anti-Israel activist and legal permanent resident Mahmoud Khalil by federal immigration officials was mentioned, activists used the opportunity to speak about numerous grievances with the school.
