Pete Buttigieg Has a Very Nasty Comment on X About the Story From The Atlantic, and I Have a Suggestion

The left is taking it hard right now all around.

The only current point of interest for the Democrats is the Jeffrey Goldberg story in The Atlantic that has sparked discussions in official Washington.

They are desperate to grab onto it — or anything else. In case you missed it, here is a recap to bring you up to speed.

For those unfamiliar with Goldberg, he is the editor of The Atlantic, a left-leaning publication known for exaggerations throughout the years (and notorious for some outrageously pro-Biden headlines). During the Trump administration, Goldberg gained attention for crafting the false “suckers and losers” narrative. This history raises doubts about the credibility of his latest story.

The White House confirmed the existence of the conversation, initiated to strategize about potential attacks on the Houthis in Yemen. Goldberg found himself included in the chat by mistake, courtesy of National Security Advisor Michael Waltz or his representative. President Donald Trump has expressed support for Waltz, stating that he has taken a lesson from the incident.

What’s not clear is whether any actual “war plans” or other classified information were disclosed, which is the heart of Goldberg’s contention. The White House is disputing his claim, and given his background, no one should be taking his word for it.

So, of course, Democrats, particularly those who were in the failed Biden Administration, sense an opportunity to get on CNN and make a case that the Trump Administration is not as competent as the one that they served in. That’s where we pick up with Mayor Pete, the former Secretary of Transportation, who had this gem of a tweet.

From an operational security perspective, this is the highest level of f***** imaginable. These people cannot keep America safe.

Such language, Pete.

Surely, the pace of the construction of charging stations will pick up, but the slowness out of the gate is a symptom of the folly of attempting to force a radical change in vehicular transportation via government fiat.

Buttigieg insists that “the EV revolution will happen with or without us,” yet it’s off to a sputtering start. It’s less a revolution than a shift in consumer preferences at the margins, especially at the high end of the market among people who can afford to make their second or third car an electric vehicle.

Hello, Pete?

So while Pete is worried about the current group in the White House keeping America safe, we know what his track record and the Biden team’s track record were, not only with the Ohio incident but also with border security and the withdrawal from Afghanistan.

When he puts his mind to it, he can actually do the right thing.
