A Kansas babysitter came face to face with a “monster” under the bed when she attempted to calm down a child she was watching.
The child claimed there was a “monster” lurking beneath the bed. When the babysitter tried to show there was nothing there, she unexpectedly encountered a male intruder.
Sheriff’s deputies were called to the house near Great Bend around 10:30 p.m., but by the time they got there, the suspect had already escaped.
According to a report from the Barton County Sheriff’s Office, “A confrontation occurred with the babysitter, and during the commotion, a child was knocked over. The suspect then fled the scene before deputies could arrive.”
