After winning four NBA titles in the last eight years, Golden State Warriors owners Joe Lacob and Peter Guber have managed to increase the franchise’s worth from 450 million dollars to 5.6 billion dollars.

Lacob, who is also minority partner at the Boston Celtics, and Guber, who is president of the company Mandalay Entertainment, bought the franchise back in July 2010 in exchange for 450m dollars.

The two men managed to put together a strong side consisting by stars such as Stephen Curry,Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala, with coach Steve Kerr heading the project and converting Golden State into a dynasty.

Kevin Durant‘s Company ‘Boardroom’ recently explained with a simple graphic on their Instagram page the evolution of the franchise. It has to be noted that Durant was key part of the Warriors team who won the NBA title in 2017 and 2018.

Six NBA Finals and four rings in eight years

Lacob and Guber had a clear idea of what they wanted to do with the franchise and their project developed gradually over the years.

They managed to lead Golden State to as many as six NBA Finals in the last eight seasons, winning four rings and turning them into one of the best teams in recent history.
