Despite their significant contributions behind the scenes, many of these individuals do not receive widespread media coverage. However, they have played a pivotal role in his recent accomplishments. Chief of Staff Susie Wiles stands out as one of these unsung heroes. In a rare interview with Lara Trump on “My View,” she shared her approach to her responsibilities:
“I view my role as primarily ensuring smooth operations and timely execution, allowing the subject-matter experts — notably the president and vice president — to effectively address the challenges facing our nation,” she articulated during the interview on “My View with Lara Trump.”
She added Trump was “ready to hit the ground running” after having four years to consider his agenda between his first and second terms.
And she’s not obsessing over her gender or her sexual identity the way it seems almost every Democrat candidate does: she’s here on her merits. She’s a human being doing her job, not a check on a form:
Although she made history with her position in the second Trump administration, Wiles said “it doesn’t feel any different to me than anything else.”
“I don’t think I was the first woman to lead a Republican presidential campaign. I don’t think I was, and when the president asked me to be his chief of staff, I didn’t know that would be the case here. I just keep doing what I think is right. Keep working as hard as I can, and it’s working for me.”

There’s something different going on with the White House and Donald Trump in his second bite at the apple. My wife and I—newly elected Los Angeles GOP Chairperson Roxanne Hoge—used to argue about vociferously back in the day. “Why did he say that?!” I would complain, adding, “That just gives ammunition to the left!”
She would argue that Trump won Round One in 2016 because he was who he was, not because he focused-grouped some opinion that made the media swoon.
I think we both had a point. Trump is far more effective in his Second Round, in my opinion, partly because he’s disciplined and partly because he has a vice president in JD Vance who doesn’t play games.
But there’s another person making this happen quietly and without public fanfare, and that’s Susie Wiles.
Trump has assembled a formidable crew—light-years ahead of his previous Cabinet, in my view—and the Democrats have their hands full in trying to push back. So far, it’s been pure Failure Theater on their part.
