This current installment of The White Lotus has been moving at a slower pace in comparison to Season 2. However, it seems to be leading up to an intense, 90-minute season finale that will be broadcasted this weekend.
The guests at The White Lotus resort have had little opportunity to fully enjoy all the amenities due to the ongoing drama. The Ratliff family, headed by Timothy (Jason Isaacs) and Victoria (Parker Posey), traveled to Thailand to support Piper’s (Sarah Catherine Hook) thesis, only to discover that she had been deceptive about her real reasons for the trip.
Meanwhile, brothers Saxon (Patrick Schwarzenegger) and Lochlan (Sam Nivola) are dealing with personal issues that they are unwilling to address, mirroring their father’s financial troubles awaiting them back home.
On the other side of the resort, a trio of girlfriends find that they can no longer cast aside their differences as problems bubble to the surface during what is meant to be a relaxing reunion.
These guests don’t seem to realize death is only a mile away. Season 1 favorite Belinda (Natasha Rothwell) is fearing for her life after she crosses paths with the man she thinks is behind Tanya McQuoid’s (Jennifer Coolidge) death. Meanwhile, the enigmatic Rick (Walton Goggins) came to Thailand with murder on his mind, though he seems to have found closure nonetheless.
The White Lotus fans already know a shooting will certainly take place at the resort in the finale. But who will be at fault? And who will be the victim? And when is the White Lotus finale? Here’s everything we know.
There are several theories and fan predictions about who will be the victim this season.
Timothy has been contemplating committing a murder-suicide to spare his family from living without their fortune when they return to the United States, leading many fans to believe that at least some members of the Ratliff family will die in Season 3.
Another pervasive theory is that Chelsea (Aimee Lou Wood) will be the victim, considering she has become an audience favorite and has already had “two brushes with death.” This is especially worrisome considering Chelsea, in her concern for Rick, keeps warning him, “Bad luck comes in threes.”
Others believe Gaitok, the resort’s bumbling security guard, will either be at fault for the shooting or the victim, while others hope that Gary will finally get what’s coming to him.
The White Lotus Season 3 finale, titled “Amor Fati,” airs this Sunday (April 6) at 9 p.m. ET/PT on HBO. It will also be available to stream on Max at that time.
