A man who is suspected of strangling his pregnant teenage girlfriend has been let out on bond for a second time. This happened after new charges were placed against him for the alleged murder.
At 20 years old, Jesus Munroy is accused of killing 16-year-old Mia Campos. Campos, who was carrying Munroy’s child and was seven months pregnant, was found dead in August near her home in Gwinnett County, Georgia, as reported by local sources.Â

The District Attorney’s Office mentioned that even though the man was granted bond once more, they are determined to seek justice and hold him accountable. This is because of the severity of the crime which involved the murder of a pregnant teenage mother and her unborn child.Â
“We do not agree with the granting of bond in such cases as this, but we present the issues to the Court, and the Court, gives her ruling. We assure the family that the District Attorney’s Office will fight and achieve justice in this case.”
