While the recent incident didn’t take place in the United States but rather just across the border in Vancouver, Canada, it is still quite alarming. Thankfully, the situation didn’t escalate into a more tragic event:

Police are currently investigating whether the rock was “intentionally or accidentally” thrown at the Tesla.

Here’s what happened:
In Vancouver, Canada, a pregnant woman in the passenger seat of a Tesla EV sustained injuries when a two-pound rock crashed through the car’s windshield. Authorities are currently looking into whether the rock was deliberately thrown at the vehicle manufactured by Elon Musk’s company.
Police said the Tesla was headed north on Nanaimo Street on the evening of March 30, and was struck by a rock as the electric vehicle passed East 27 Avenue, according to a report by Global News.
Now, rocks don’t spontaneously hurl themselves at cars. It seems there’s an extremely high degree of chance that this was more terrorism, and it almost cost the life of a mom and her soon-to-be-baby.
