Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen met through a mutual friend in 2006, after both had ended their previous long-term relationships and with the two of them being at the top of their crafts.
Some people don’t know that one of Tom Brady’s children wasn’t born from Gisele, but rather than his ex girlfriend, Bridget Moynahan, whom he dated in the months prior to hitting things off with Bündchen.

Tom Brady’s eldest son, John Edward Thomas Moynahan was born in August 2007, a few months after Tom Brady had separated from his girlfriend Bridget Moynahan and even fewer months since he’d started dating Gisele.
The quarterback has spoken about how that experience thaught him a lot about Gisele and also allowed his now wife to find out a lot about him and how he was dealing with the situation, one he recalls as not an easy one.
“It was an interesting time because we found out that my ex-girlfriend was pregnant with my oldest son. I think that was a very … We were forced into this very important thing that was happening in our life at a new point in our relationship,” Brady told Access Hollywood during a 2016 interview.
Brady then went on to express how he couldn’t have had it any better and showed his love for his son Jack.
“I think we all made the best of that situation. Fortunately, he’s the most amazing son … My son Jack, my heart explodes when I think of him. He’s the greatest kid you can ever ask for.”
What does Gisele say about Tom Brady’s first son
During a 2020 interview with Howard Stern, Tom Brady recalled that when he saw Gisele enter a room he was in, for the first time, he thought she was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen in his life.
In regards to Tom Brady’s son before their marriage, Gisele Bündchen has always been very supportive and even revealed in the past how she doesn’t like the term “stepmom”.
“I use the word bonus mom because I feel like it’s a blessing in my life. I feel so lucky that I got to have an extra, wonderful little angel in my life”, Bündchen has said in the past.
On the other hand, Bridget Moynahan has previously stated that she’s sure that her son has two loving parents and an extended family, whether it’s cousins or stepmothers or boyfriends, with her son constantly being surrounded by love.
