DONALD Trump has warned Elon Musk he could be forced out of the US.
The president said he could consider deporting Elon Musk after the South African-born billionaire slammed his flagship “One Big Beautiful Bill”.

When White House reporters asked if he would deport the South African-born entrepreneur and US citizen, Trump replied: “We’ll have to take a look.”
The president even threatened to unleash the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) “monster” to “eat” the tech billionaire.
He said: “We might have to put DOGE on Elon. You know what DOGE is? DOGE is the monster that might have to go back and eat Elon.”
Trump reiterated the threat by suggesting that Musk’s criticism was aimed at his proposal, dubbed the “One Big Beautiful Bill,” due to its exclusion of measures supporting electric vehicles (EVs).
He insinuated that Musk was displeased with the removal of the EV mandates and warned that the consequences for Musk could be far more significant than anticipated.
Trump echoed these sentiments on his Truth Social platform, implying that without subsidies, Musk might be forced to shut down his operations and return to South Africa.
Musk, the world’s richest person, was Trump’s biggest donor in the 2024 election and initially maintained a near-constant presence at the newly elected president’s side.
