Jack Grealish heaps praise on two Arsenal players as he warns his Manchester City team-mates of the Gunners' experience ahead of title showdown

Jack Grealish has heaped praise on two Arsenal players ahead of Manchester City’s clash with the Gunners.

The two sides will go head-to-head in a crunch clash at the Etihad on Sunday with huge stakes on the line.

Mikel Arteta’s men currently sit top of the table, ahead of Liverpool on goal difference and one point in front of City ahead of the run-in.

‘Obviously, they have added Declan [Rice] and [Kai] Havertz who are both playing really well at the moment,’ Grealish told Manchester City’s official website.

‘They might have a bit more experience than last season. In both this season and last season, they have had a young side and last season was their first real time in a title race, so this year they might have a bit more experience.

‘I think it is all about us at the moment and if we go out there and win the game then it puts us in a great position.’

After a poor start to the season, Havertz looks to have settled at Arsenal following his £65million move from Chelsea last summer.

The German has scored eight Premier League goals this term while operating as a midfielder and striker, with four of those coming in his last four appearances.

Meanwhile, Rice has been one of the signings of the season in the Premier League after joining Arsenal for £105m from West Ham.

He has been an ever-present in midfield for his new side, helping them in another Premier League title chase and to the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

Arsenal suffered a damaging 4-1 defeat at the Etihad in April last year in a game that was dubbed a title shootout at the time.

And Grealish, who returned to training this week after returning from a groin injury, insists it’s a must-win match for City.

‘We have to win. We are behind them at the moment,’ the England international added.
