A second man has been charged with the murder of Gold Coast mother Kelly Wilkinson for allegedly driving her U.S Marine ex-husband to her home.
Bradley Bell, a 25-year-old workmate of accused killer Brian Earle Johnston, was arrested at a business in Coomera on Tuesday morning and charged with murder.
Prosecutors will allege that Bell knew Johnston was planning to kill the mother-of-three and helped him prepare for it.
He is accused of transporting Johnston to Ms Wilkinson’s home on April 20 and stopping to fill up a jerry can of petrol with him.
Later that day, the mother-of-three was found dead at home, having suffered serious burns.

Detective Inspector Chris Ahern said police will allege Bell knew Johnston was allegedly planning to murder his former lover and assisted in ‘preparatory’ acts.
‘He aided Kelly’s estranged husband with committing a number of acts which helped him to commit a murder,’ Mr Ahern said.
‘We will allege he knew what the end result was going to be.’
Mr Bell was interviewed by police shortly after Ms Wilkinson’s death.
Detectives don’t believe Bell knew Ms Wilkinson or her family, who have been briefed about the latest charge.
Johnston was charged with Ms Wilkinson’s horrific murder earlier this year. His case is before the courts and he is bail refused.
Bell has been refused bail to appear in the Southport Magistrates Court tomorrow.
