The family were still reeling from a tragedy which hit the family when Venicia took Samuel in and it’s clear the family were struggling to face up to responsibilities like cleaning.

“My mum was diagnosed with cancer, she had to go into a hospice, and that’s when she passed away from Covid. We weren’t allowed to see her. So it was really, really difficult. Life doesn’t stop when there’s death. Just make everyone comfortable and forget about everything else.”

The mum’s child, Samuel, then said: “I moved into here because my mum sadly passed away. I had to come somewhere.

“The hardest part for me has been getting along with everyone.”

The dad then added: “The plans for the house moved to the back of the list. It wasn’t as important as his health. As his wellbeing. As making sure that he’s okay.”

Stacey and her team then stripped the LLoyd family’s house clean, removing absolutely everything so that they can start again from scratch.

But not before everything they owned was laid out in a giant warehouse – including a staggering 118 blankets, 116 hair accessories, 51 hats, 31 old mobile phones and tablets and 52 bottles of perfume.

Stacey said: “118 blankets is an absolute joke. You had a whole wardrobe with only blankets, you didn’t have any clothes in there.”

“Bonus boy” Samuel then found photos of his mum with his sister in among the piles of possessions.

Venicia then told Stacey as she sobbed: “My mum had me when she was 16. We were 16 years apart. We were like sisters.”

Stacey Solomon hugged Venicia and then said: “I think Venicia put these walls up and keep going, making sure she keeps herself distracted, not taking a second to think about the trauma. I think she’s finally ready to face it.”

Viewers were left feeling really emotional after the episode and backed Stacey for being so supportive of the family including fixing Samuel’s iPad so he could see photos of his mum again as well as seeing the huge transformations to declutter the house for the family.

Changes included revamping the office/gym to add Elisha’s recording studio and freeing up a room to make a bedroom for their little girl – as well as throwing away a lot of clutter.

The episode ended with an announcement by the BBC which said: “Details of organisations offering help with bereavement and support or end of life care are available at BBC.co.uk/Actionline or you can call for free at any time to hear recorded information on 08000 158707.”
