Walmart worker, 20, arrested for ‘planning to kill 43 people’ on day off after she had ‘recurring dream’ about attack

A WALMART employee allegedly threatened to kill her coworkers and herself after experiencing haunting dreams for months.

A coworker of Keelin Paige Pascoe, 20, reported that the woman told her a detailed plan about how she would kill dozens of other employees.

An Arizona woman allegedly intended to execute a mass casualty event at her workplace, as revealed in court papers acquired by local Fox affiliate KSAZ.

She disclosed a recurrent dream she had been experiencing, envisioning a scenario where she arrives at Walmart, shoots and fatally injures multiple colleagues, and subsequently ends her own life.

“[Pascoe] then began describing a plan of how she could carry out the dream in real life.

The investigators detailed that she planned to locate an individual resembling herself, eliminate her, assume the person’s identity, and then carry out the killing of her colleagues under the guise of the deceased person.

The Walmart employee allegedly had an extensive hit list of 40 coworkers that she wanted to kill.

Police noted that the coworker said Pascoe’s alleged date of attack would have been March 2, 2025, as she had the day off.

“When the complainant tried to be dismissive about [Pascoe’s] plan, [Pascoe] seemed irritated and said ‘[no one] believes me’ and also added that she was excited for the plan because ‘that’s how they’ll know me,’” police said.

Investigators later interviewed the 20-year-old, who admitted to having a dream for five months that revolved around killing coworkers she had real-world problems with.

“According to [Pascoe], after the first occurrence of the dream, she wrote a list of names of people from Walmart and her other job,” the documents stated.

“When asked what the list was for, [Pascoe] said they were people she wanted dead.”

In response to the alleged threats, Walmart released a statement reassuring employees of the company’s dedication to safety.

“The safety of our associates and customers is always a top priority,” the company said in an email to The U.S. Sun.

“We’re thankful for the partnership with police and are cooperating with their investigation.”

According to court documents, Pascone has a history of suicide attempts.

Her most recent self-harm attempt happened on February 7, 2025.

“Interviews with Walmart managerial staff and law enforcement database searches reveal [Pascoe] has a documented history of suicide attempts and self-harm, as recent as 02/07/2025,” the documents confirmed.

Pascone’s comments led to her being arrested for making a terrorist threat and using electronic communication to make the threat.

She is being held on a bond of $50,000.

If she can make the bond, she will be monitored via electronic monitoring and will only be allowed to leave her home on certain occasions.

Her preliminary hearing is set for March 3, 2025.
