Fans spot shocking detail in Sex And The City star's Hamptons' home kitchen... even though she's worth $20 MILLION

Sex And The City fans got a surprise when one of the iconic comedy’s stars shared her intimate kitchen setup on Instagram this week.

Cynthia Nixon, known for her role in HBO’s sequel series And Just Like That, treated her 1.5 million Instagram followers to a glimpse of her kitchen in Montauk, New York’s East Hampton.

Despite expectations of a luxurious, modern culinary haven, the 59-year-old actress revealed a surprisingly cozy, old-school kitchen that resonated with many viewers who likely have similar setups in their own homes.

‘This is my kitchen in Montauk!’ Cynthia — who is worth $20 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth — gushed while beaming in the midst of the cozily cluttered space. ‘I’m about to serve up some coffee.’

She was dressed casually in an orange apron from the Manhattan deli and store Zabar’s, which she wore over a purple T-shirt and a black-and-white patterned skirt while sporting a swept-back blond bob

The actress — who will be seen without one of her key costars when season three of And Just Like That returns later this month — boasted a refreshingly unpretentious Moka pot on her gas stove for making the brew.

Then she gestured toward the wall to reveal well-used pots and pans with years of stains and scratches on them, suggesting that she is an home chef.

The window to the left of her hanging pots was open for a spring breeze, and she had the sill decorated with metal tins and a bag of Peet’s coffee, which most of her viewers could find in an average supermarket.

She proudly showed off the teal plastic plastic basket that she used when picking things from her garden, and she noted that she had some ‘very delicious and very fresh’ kale that was straight from the garden resting in a colander.

Then Cynthia gestured up on top of her weathered, medium-brown cabinets to show her hodgepodge of glass vases for all the flowers she likes to pick from her garden.

She also noted that she had a lobster pot sitting up on her cabinets, which may have been unfamiliar to some of her followers who don’t live in the Northeast.

The actress had a long black peninsula in her kitchen, which held more kale, the shears that she uses in her garden and tea she had already made.

She had already warmed up some milk in a pot on the stove for her coffee until it was foaming to top, and she poured a generous portion into her modestly sized cup from her ‘Italian coffee maker.’

But she admitted that she needed ‘a little more foam’ in a playfully guilty voice, before dropping a hearty dollop on top.

'This is my kitchen in Montauk!' Cynthia gushed while beaming in the midst of the cozily cluttered space. 'I'm about to serve up some coffee,' she said, revealing her casual Moka pot before turning to well-used pots and pans on the wall

Cynthia completed her caffeine confection with a dash of cinnamon.

‘Yum!’ she said as she raised her glass to her viewers.

‘I think I need a few more vases (and an in-home hair stylist),’ Cynthia joked in her caption.

Fans in the comments section were in love with her cozy kitchen.

‘Finally, a celebrity kitchen that looks like someone uses it!’ one fan gushed.

‘This is the most wholesome thing I’ve seen online in a very long time!’ one person wrote adoringly.

‘Imagine getting coffee made by Cynthia Nixon!’ another wrote.

A minority of viewers thought Cynthia’s kitchen was overly cluttered, though.

‘Girl you got a lotta stuff,’ read one complaint.

Joining in the comments was Cynthia’s Sex And The City costar Sarah Jessica Parker, who wrote, ‘Love your kitchen!!!! And you! X.’

The Stranger Things and Mad Men actress Cara Buono added that she had had a ‘glorious’ time in Cynthia’s kitchen ‘back when I was pregnant!’

Others said that they loved the kitchen so much that they wanted a tour of Cynthia’s garden now.

Three of the four leads returned years later to continue their adventures in And Just Like That, which debuted in late 2021, but Cattrall opted not to return amid a bitter feud with Parker, though she did make a brief cameo — via a phone conversation — at the end of season two.

Season three, which will feature 12 episodes, premieres on May 29 on HBO and it’s streaming service Max.
