Cecily made her debut in 2012, working on two projects, “How to Sponsor a Uterus” and more importantly, “Saturday Night Live”, the critically acclaimed TV series and appearing in its 135 episodes so far; the show has received numerous awards, such as 66 Primetime Emmys, Black Reel Awards for Television, Critics Choice Television Awards and Directors Guild of America, USA. As of 2013, the actress and comedian joined the cast of “The Awesomes”, and appeared in 13 episodes of the series over the course of two years. In 2015, Cecily worked on projects such as “The Bronze”, in which she played the role of Janice, and “Staten Island Summer”, portraying Mary Ellen. In 2016, Strong appeared in “Ghostbusters” and followed by working on “Scream Queens” in the same year, and “The Female Brain”, “Detroiters” and “Man Seeking Woman” in the next year. Subsequently she was cast to provide voice recordings for Megan Matheson in “The Simpsons”.
