Just like her husband, Craig Melvin, Lindsay Czarniak got her start in local news before making it big on a major TV network.
In 2011, Czarniak and Melvin got married, seven years before Melvin started cohosting the third hour of Today. After that, they had a son named Delano in 2014 and a daughter named Sybil in 2016.
Czarniak has been working for Fox Sports since 2019. In March 2025, she had the opportunity to cohost the third hour of Today alongside her husband and Al Roker. On the show, while standing in for Dylan Dreyer, Czarniak expressed her excitement, saying, “It’s so great to be here!” and playfully suggesting that “[Craig is] very nervous about me taking things off the rails.”
During the episode, Roker praised Czarniak for her attire, a full blue outfit designed to support National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. This gesture was particularly significant to Melvin, as he had tragically lost his older brother, Lawrence Meadows, to colon cancer in 2020.
“Can’t wait to co-host the third hour of @todayshow,” she captioned an Instagram Story selfie while traveling into New York City before the show. At the end of the episode, Melvin joked that he would give his wife “a ride home.”
