Maryland deputies are deeply concerned about the disappearance of Lesbia Mileth Ramirez Guerra, a 23-year-old mother of two. The Charles County Sheriff’s Office has raised suspicions of foul play in her case. Furthermore, Guerra’s boyfriend, who is also the father of her children, has been detained by federal authorities because of alleged improper documentation.
Reports indicate that Guerra was last seen in person on March 31. The following day, on April 1, a red Toyota 4Runner belonging to the family was observed being relocated from the front to the back of their residence, a move described as unusual given the property’s layout. Despite this oddity, the vehicle was later seen leaving the property from the front, prompting deputies to label this behavior as “unusual and suspicious.”
The sheriff’s office is urging the public to review any surveillance footage featuring the 4Runner from March 31 to April 2. Guerra’s boyfriend officially reported her missing on April 2. Authorities are actively seeking any potentially relevant videos, not limited to surveillance camera recordings, but also including footage from hunters’ cameras situated in wooded areas. Of particular interest are recordings from remote or rural roadways as investigators strive to gather as much information as possible.
“Guerra was last physically seen on the evening of March 31 at her residence on Adams Court in Waldorf, where she lives with several individuals, including her boyfriend, who is the father of her two children,” deputies wrote Monday.

Investigators have not identified a suspect, but Richardson called the boyfriend a person of interest. In executing a search warrant at the home, they found counterfeit immigration papers in the man’s possession, they said. When checking with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), they learned these were fakes, and he was undocumented in the country, they said. ICE agents took him into custody.

Detectives are working diligently to develop additional information and are asking for the public’s help. Anyone with knowledge of Guerra’s whereabouts or who may have seen the Toyota 4Runner between March 31 and April 2, including areas that are isolated and or remote, is asked to contact Detective Burgess at 301-609-6494 or submit a tip anonymously through Charles County Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS.
“It’s very serious what’s happening,” a friend of Guerra who identified himself as Wilson told D.C.-area ABC affiliate WJLA in an interview, which the outlet translated from Spanish to English. “And we’re all hoping for the moment she appears alive and well and soon. The kids aren’t at fault for anything. And they’re suffering right now. We all want her to appear alive and well again. She was like a sister to me. She was a really good person. Every time I come in and spend time with them, she’s always a great person towards me.”
