An attorney from Florida allegedly used a dinner plate to hit a man in the head. When the police approached him, he initially chose to stay silent. However, later on, he insisted that charges should be filed against another individual as well.

Mark Roher, aged 52, stated in police body camera footage from Jan. 18 that he wanted to press charges against the other person involved. He mentioned that out of all the people who attacked him, he could only identify this individual as the one who kicked him. He emphasized, “So he kicked me. I saw him. He’s the only one I saw kicking me, so I don’t know why he’s not getting charged.”

Deputies in Palm Beach County, Florida, didn’t see it his way and arrested him for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.

According to previous coverage by Law&Crime, deputies reported that Roher was attending a wedding at the Boca Lago Country Club in Boca Raton. The incident took place during the wedding reception when Roher was waiting in line at the prime rib carving station. Allegedly, two young girls cut in front of him, leading him to confront one of the girl’s fathers in a heated exchange.
