Meeting between dating teens' parents ends in gunfire: Cops

Luther Madison II, 39, and Angelica Madison, 39, were arrested and charged with aggravated assault on March 18 after an incident that occurred the prior day. As per a statement from Harris County Constable Precinct 4, the couple had arranged to meet with two other parents to discuss the romantic relationship between their teenage son and the teenage daughter of the other couple. The names of the other parents involved were not disclosed, but one of them allegedly had a firearm during the meeting.

A Texas couple who met with the parents of a teenage girl dating their son were arrested after the conversation allegedly took a violent turn.

Reportedly, the purpose of the meeting was for the couples to address their concerns about the children’s relationship and to seek assistance from the Madisons in keeping their son away from the other couple’s daughter, who was considered too young for dating. While the details of the confrontation were not fully disclosed, it was described as a verbal and physical altercation that transpired on the street in the Madisons’ neighborhood in Hockley, which is located about 35 miles northwest of Houston.
