Top legal and true crime network Law&Crime is thrilled to announce the addition of three accomplished on-air journalists to its rapidly expanding digital team: Chris Stewart, Kennedi Walker and Kristin Thorne. The move is a cornerstone of a larger expansion across Law&Crime’s social media platforms and digital channels and continued investment in journalistic expertise and high-quality storytelling. As Law&Crime continues to grow its YouTube production unit to serve over eight million subscribers across five channels, these talented journalists will play key roles in developing and launching several new shows currently in production, further expanding Law&Crime’s footprint.

Chris Stewart joins Law&Crime from Scripps News, where he was recognized as an award-winning breaking news anchor. Stewart will headline Law&Crime’s newest investigative series, “On the Case with Chris Stewart,” which will dive deep into high-profile criminal cases, offering exclusive interviews and never-before-seen details. His experience as a frontline journalist covering breaking stories brings unmatched depth and insight to Law&Crime’s ever-growing lineup.

Kristin Thorne, formerly an investigative reporter at WABC 7’s Eyewitness News in New York City, will host a premium investigative show currently in development for Law&Crime Investigates. Thorne’s reputation for uncovering hidden truths and breaking major stories will be crucial as she spearheads efforts to push new investigative pilots into production.

Kennedi Walker, named “Best Multimedia Journalist” by the Texas Association of Broadcasters in 2024 during her time at KTVT-TV in Dallas, will serve as a daily reporter for Law&Crime’s primary news channel. Known for her dynamic on-camera presence and ability to cover complex stories with clarity and impact, Walker will contribute breaking news updates and in-depth coverage of the day’s most pressing legal and true crime stories.

“We are thrilled to welcome Chris, Kristin, and Kennedi to the Law&Crime family,” said Rachel Stockman, President of Law&Crime. “Each of them brings an impressive background in investigative journalism, unique storytelling perspectives, and an incredible passion for uncovering the truth. They will be major assets as we continue to grow our programming and bring our audience more exclusive stories and breaking news in the true crime and legal space.”
