Michael Stevens (Oklahoma City Police Department).

A man in Oklahoma was captured on a body camera being arrested by the police after allegedly shooting at two of his neighbors, hitting one of them. The incident was triggered by his displeasure over them working on a piece of land, as per authorities’ reports.

In the video, Michael Stevens, 41, is seen preemptively surrendered by kneeling on the side of a dirt road with his hands behind his back.

As mentioned in the arrest warrant application, law enforcement officials responded to a report of gunshots at Alexi Lane in Oklahoma City around 2:58 p.m. on Sept. 13. The suspect, identified as Michael, was found to be in an intoxicated state and confessed to the officers about the events. He expressed his dissatisfaction with seeing individuals clearing the land adjacent to his property, stating that he was unaware of the land’s ownership status. The noise of the chainsaw led to him losing his temper and resorting to violence.

Detailing the sequence of events, documents showed that Michael’s anger was directed towards the land being cleared, prompting him to take extreme actions. This situation unfolded with Michael confronting his neighbors, leading to a dangerous confrontation that resulted in one individual being struck by gunfire. The bodycam footage captured by the police sheds light on the volatile nature of the situation and the subsequent arrest of the suspect.
