Twin brothers from Florida were both arrested after being accused of sexually abusing alleged victims over the course of several years.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office recently made a Facebook post regarding the arrest of Donald Ray Hawkins and Ronald Gene Hawkins, both aged 67, on Jan. 14. The charges against them include sexual battery of a victim under 12. Donald was apprehended in Washington County, while his brother Ronald was taken into custody in Brevard County, where he lives, and is to be extradited to the same county as his brother.
Due to the age of the alleged victims, authorities have refrained from disclosing specific details about the charges. The sheriff’s office mentioned in their social media update that allegations had been made against both brothers. Following an investigation, it was uncovered that the Hawkins brothers reportedly engaged in criminal sexual activities “on numerous occasions over a period of several years.”
