Police in Albuquerque, New Mexico, have arrested a second suspect in connection to a fatal shooting — and the suspect is the son of a federal agent.

Thomas Acee, 21, was taken into custody on December 5th following investigations linking him to the tragic shooting death of 13-year-old Michael Tubb. The incident took place on August 18th when Acee allegedly fired at a vehicle that Michael was in, resulting in the young boy’s death. Another unidentified teenager who was also present sustained injuries but survived the attack. Acee now confronts several serious felony charges, including an open count of first-degree murder.

Reports detailing Acee’s arrest highlighted his familial connection as the son of FBI Special Agent Bryan Acee, a prominent figure in the local community known for his appearances in the media discussing matters related to crime and law enforcement.
