A 41-year-old woman in Missouri is accused of intentionally running over a bank employee who was putting up Christmas lights after becoming enraged that decorating project temporarily closed the bank’s drive-thru window.

Jemma Allen was taken into custody on Monday and charged with one count of second-degree assault and one count of resisting or interfering with an arrest for a felony, authorities announced. According to a news release from the St. Clair Police Department, officers, firefighters, and emergency medical personnel at about 9:30 a.m. responded to a call about a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle in the parking lot of Sullivan bank in the 1100 block of North Main Street. The financial establishment is about 50 miles southwest of St. Louis.
