A Florida woman has been accused of second-degree murder following the death of her husband, who reportedly sustained injuries from a cane equipped with an illegal blade.

The woman, identified as Terry Taylor, 58 years old, is currently held in police custody after being charged in connection with the demise of her husband, Stanley Taylor, aged 67. An official statement released on the Boca Raton Police Services Department Facebook page disclosed that law enforcement officers were dispatched to the Taylor residence around 10:30 a.m. on January 13 in response to a medical crisis. Upon their arrival, they discovered Stanley Taylor with a stab wound on his torso. Subsequently, it was alleged that Terry Taylor had instructed neighbors to contact the authorities and explain that her husband had “fallen on a knife.”
