A 24-year-old man has been taken into custody by Texas authorities and is facing charges of murder. He is accused of shooting a mother of four while she was driving, which resulted in her car flipping over into a ditch. The incident took place during a road rage altercation in San Antonio.

Julie Marie Butcher, 31, was driving on Interstate 35 on the night of Nov. 8 when she got into a heated dispute with another driver, Nicholas Hernandez, and was allegedly murdered by him, according to local ABC affiliate KSAT. Hernandez’s arrest affidavit outlines how he got into the confrontation with Butcher, though it’s unclear why, and proceeded to shoot her in the head before speeding off.

Butcher’s car was reportedly found in a ditch, where she was pronounced dead by police.
