The REAL reason Tommy Fury is banned from appearing in Molly-Mae Hague's Prime Video series Behind It All revealed

Tommy Fury is banned from appearing in Molly-Mae Hague’s show Behind It All despite the couple rekindling their romance.

The 26-year-old boxer is only seen on FaceTime or heard over the phone in the six episodes on Prime Video. The show features Molly and their two-year-old daughter, Bambi.

Viewers can watch the final three episodes from season one on Friday but won’t even see a glimpse of Tommy, who avoids filming altogether.

Tommy’s absence from the screen is due to a contractual agreement with the BBC, which holds the exclusive rights to his upcoming documentary, Tommy: The Good. The Bad. The Fury.

His commitment to the BBC for the series documenting his life, focusing on his battle with alcohol and the aftermath of his split from Molly, prevents him from appearing on Prime Video.

A source revealed that as much as Tommy would have liked to feature in Molly’s series, he simply wasn’t able to because of his work commitments elsewhere.

A TV insider told MailOnline: ‘There’s a very valid reason why Tommy doesn’t appear on Molly’s series.

‘He isn’t able to film a scene or even show his face because of his contract with the BBC.

‘Tommy is involved with his own documentary, The Good. The Bad. The Fury, and the BBC has the exclusive rights to his story.’

The Prime Video documentary, produced by the team behind Netflix’s At Home With the Furys, was set to follow the buildup of Molly and Tommy’s wedding before they unexpectedly split in August 2024.

And so, it was decided that the series would focus on Molly alone as she navigated the pair’s very public breakup, motherhood, and running her businesses.

This year, it was confirmed that Tommy had signed a new BBC documentary, which promises to offer a ‘candid, access all areas’ look at the boxer’s life.

After revealing that his relationship with Molly collapsed because of struggles with alcohol, it’s believed Tommy delves into further detail about his mental health and how a boxing injury led to the toughest chapter of his life.

Molly got back with Tommy earlier this year but admits in Behind It All that she lives in fear of their relationship being destroyed again.

During a session with her life coach, Molly spoke of her trepidation over rekindling with Tommy, as she asked herself: ‘Am I wasting my time?’

Molly and Tommy met on ITV2 dating show Love Island in 2019, where they fell for each other in front of the nation.

They welcomed daughter Bambi in January 2023, before getting engaged that summer.

Fans were shocked last August when Molly announced on Instagram that she and Tommy had split up after five years, with many suspecting he had been unfaithful.

In a statement posted to her 8.5million Instagram followers, Molly confirmed the breakup, saying: ‘I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way.’

Tommy denied continued speculation about him cheating during a magazine interview, insisting any reports about him being with other women were ‘complete and utter bollocks.’

But during the sit down with her life coach, Molly speaks about how the ‘trust’ in their relationship broke down.

She says: ‘It’s the trust and the respect and building up that relationship again that unfortunately broke down.

‘I wish I could have a crystal ball, I wouldn’t want to see any part of my life like my businesses, health, anything, I would just want to see is the future Tommy and I and Bambi or is it not?

‘Is he going to be the person that he once was, and I know that the family we can be because I’ve had glimmers of it when we have spent time together and co-parented.

‘There’s no love gone from my side because I never wanted any of this to happen.’
