Police in Texas are looking for a Galveston County teenager and her boyfriend in connection with the death of the girl’s grandmother.
Deputies from the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office went to check on the grandmother on Thursday evening following a report from a concerned friend who couldn’t reach her. Sadly, the deputies discovered her lifeless body in her home, showing indications of a possible crime.
Authorities mentioned that Tara King, a 17-year-old girl who is the granddaughter of the victim, and her boyfriend, Uriah Ureck, 18 years old, are individuals they are interested in speaking with regarding the incident.
The Galveston County Daily News said the victim had been identified as 61-year-old Tammy Sue King and that she had at least one gunshot wound.
According to residents interviewed by KTRK, the teenager, who attends Dickinson High School, was raised by King and Ureck, who resided in the grandmother’s home together. The grandmother, reported to be in her 60s, had not been seen or heard from since Tuesday night, as per the neighbors.
