The Bachelor‘s Alexe Godin opened up about every single one of her tattoos.
Alexe quickly won the hearts of Bachelor Nation when she appeared on Grant Ellis’ season 29. She recently took to TikTok on February 23 to share the stories behind her tattoos.
She expressed being nervous about appearing on The Bachelor as they had never featured a woman with a full-sleeve tattoo on the show before. Alexe wanted to channel Miley Cyrus’s style with her sleeve and initially worried about being judged. Eventually, she decided to embrace her authentic self, saying, “Who cares? This is me.”
She added, “I wish I could say they all have super deep meanings, but to be honest, they all were very impulsive, spur-of-the-moment decisions.”
During her TikTok video, Alexe revealed her first tattoo, an underboob design she got at the age of 19. The tattoo featured Greek script, as she had believed she was a quarter Greek heritage, later discovering she was only one-sixteenth Greek. To translate the text, she resorted to Google Translate.
She continued, “It’s supposed to say something corny like, ‘Live by the sun, love by the moon,’” however, it actually reads, “Live on the sun, love for the moon.”
Moving onto her arm, Alexe has a butterfly on her shoulder, representing “evolving and becoming a better person.” Next, she showed off an eye tattoo, which she later covered with a large mermaid because the artwork wasn’t her style. “That was the first time I was like, ‘Oh my gosh. What did I just put on my arm?! That is there forever. Now, I have to commit to a full sleeve.”
Elsewhere on her arm, she has “Honey” written, a drawing of a woman with flowers that also represents “evolving,” and a bumble bee, which is one of her obsessions — even though she wanted it to be much smaller.
Alexe also flaunted a bull skull drawing, which she thought “looked cool” on her bicep.
While she was getting the bull, Alexe thought her arm looked like it was missing something, so the artist suggested she get another at the same appointment.
Alexe also has a matching cloud tattoo on her forearm beside a snake, which she gushed is her “favorite.”
The Bachelor Nation star recommended that fans think about a tattoo idea for a “full year” before getting one, so they don’t regret it.
