Summer House” star Paige DeSorbo shocked the Bravosphere when she announced her exit from the long-running reality series in early June 2025.

Amanda Batula, Lindsay’s close friend both on and off screen, recently suggested that Lindsay Hubbard could make a comeback to the show sooner than fans might anticipate.

Furthermore, Batula shared her thoughts on Lexi Wood’s unexpected exit from “Summer House,” which came after a season primarily marked by her tumultuous relationship with her ex-boyfriend, Jesse Solomon.

The day after the “Summer House” season 9 reunion concluded, DeSorbo shared a lengthy Instagram post announcing her departure from the Bravo show.

In a recent interview, Batula revealed on her Instagram Stories, “I have an update for you all: I’ve decided not to come back to Summer House. Being part of this show has been one of the most fulfilling experiences in my life — the friendships, the conflicts, the laughter, all truly memorable.”

“You’ve seen me grow up over these last 7 summers. I’ll always be beyond grateful for the memories, the community, and the opportunities this wild ride has brought me. But like all good things (and some bad decisions), it’s time for this chapter to close,” the fashion influencer added.

“To my castmates, the fans, and my NBCU family: thank you,” she continued. “I never could’ve imagined what this journey would turn into — and how many of you would be along for the ride. And you haven’t seen the last of me, I promise. So much more to do together, but for now you know you can always find me and Daphne in my bed.”

Although many fans were stunned by her decision, Batula told The Post that she saw her exit coming from a mile away.

“She FaceTimed me and Ciara [Miller] and told us, and it was really tough to hear,” Batula, 33, told the publication.

“I think I was sort of expecting it just because she had such a rough time last summer, and you can really tell that her anxiety was taking her over. She stayed back a few Fridays, would stay back a weekend. She was really struggling, and I think that it’s the best decision for her,” she added.

However, the veteran reality star, who recently launched her “Amanda Batula” swim line, said she has a feeling DeSorbo will return to the series—or TV in general—sometime soon.

“I’m calling it taking a summer off,” Batula told The Post. “I’d like to think that she’s not done. I know that she is not done with TV.”

She added, “That girl was born for TV. So I know we’ll be seeing plenty of her. But I mean, it’s exhausting to go out to the Hamptons every single weekend, driving back and forth, sitting in the traffic, all the partying, the drinking. It’s a lot. And I think she went through it last summer, and she just needs a break. And I respect that.”

Batula explained that although DeSorbo’s exit made her and her co-star, Ciara Miller, “sad,” she’s glad to still have an ally on the show. “[Ciara and I] just kind of looked at each other and were like, ‘It’s just the two of us.’”

And DeSorbo isn’t the only one leaving “Summer House” and the Hamptons behind.

Wood, who spent most of the season arguing with her ex-boyfriend, Solomon, also announced her departure in June 2025.

“Well… that wasn’t the summer I signed up for but it definitely taught me a lot,” she wrote online. “I stood up for women and for what’s right, even when it wasn’t easy and I’d do that again in a heartbeat.”
