Andy Cohen Says ‘RHONJ’ Fans Have Nothing To Worry About Regarding Season 15

During his recent appearance on the popular daytime talk show, Cohen, one of Bravo’s most recognizable names, shared that the network was currently searching the suburbs of New Jersey for fresh, new faces.

During his chat with the panel, Cohen also opened up about the show’s hiatus after season 14, which occurred due to the cast being divided by the ongoing feud between Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice’s families.

“It was really on a deep pause and we are actively there casting and looking at the future of what that will be,” Cohen said, adding, “It’s a great franchise, and we love it. I just have to reiterate that.”

Cohen’s comments come weeks after an insider revealed the network was “stalling” regarding the next season of the show.

According to the insider, all of season 14’s cast members had been in touch with the show’s production company, “but not with any news,” the source stated.

“There’s still an open line of communication, but no news on who is coming back or who is not coming back,” the source continued, before saying Bravo was toying with ways to “see how they can make it work.”

In a previous interview, Giudice, who has been on the show since the beginning in 2008, discussed the pause after filming season 14 and described the break as “good.”

She also branded the most recent season as “toxic,” a sentiment she had expressed before while discussing filming with her brother, Joe Gorga, and his wife, Melissa.

“I never signed up to be on a TV show with my family,” Giudice said. “This [‘RHONJ’] was my thing. I was excited about it. It was something new for me, and it was like my job, and I was excited, and then all of a sudden I get bombarded and ambushed by my family. And it was very sad because I felt like my dream kind of got shattered.”

Dolores Catania, another “RHONJ” veteran, also shared her opinion about the show’s status during a separate interview and admitted to feeling frustrated with the cast over their inability to get along.

“I’m a little mad [at them],” she said. “I really am.”

The reality star even revealed that before filming the group’s final scene for the most recent season, she visited a therapist to develop helpful strategies for maintaining peace among the cast.

“I wrote it down in the car ride on the way there. And no matter what I did on and off camera, nothing helped. You could see I was defeated. I sat there, and I knew you wouldn’t be seeing us for a while; I saw it coming,” she said.
