Speculations have emerged shedding light on why Jay-Z promptly responded to the rape allegations against him and why he was later spotted at the red carpet event for his daughter Blue Ivy’s movie, “Mufasa: The Lion King.”
The reports claim that the rapper’s wife, Beyoncé, is the reason behind his actions, as she wants their family to face the accusations “head-on.”
Jay-Z and Beyoncé are also said to have been working with a “crisis specialist” since the allegations surfaced.

The Couple Is Working With A ‘Crisis Specialist’
At the premiere of “Mufasa: The Lion King” in Los Angeles on Monday night, Jay-Z accompanied his wife, Beyoncé, to show support for their daughter, Blue Ivy.
Since the event, many have questioned how the rapper could confidently make such a public appearance amid the ongoing rape allegations against him.
Recent reports suggest that Beyoncé insisted that the Roc Nation founder attend the premiere, as the couple and their family intend to address the allegations directly, with Beyoncé determined to take every possible step to maintain unity within their family.
“They are working with a crisis specialist who is advising them on how to handle this,” a source told the Daily Mail about the Carter family.

Beyoncé Reportedly Anticipated Jay-Z Would Be Dragged Into Diddy Scandal
According to the source, Beyoncé isn’t surprised by the rape allegations against her husband, as she has long anticipated he might be linked to the scandals surrounding embattled rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs.
Her husband and the Bad Boy founder are amicable, with Jay-Z frequently attending Diddy’s famous White Parties, which some reports suggest may have involved “freak offs.”
“This has been hanging over [Beyonce and Jay-Z’s] head since Diddy’s arrest,” the insider said of the couple while referencing Diddy’s September arrest on federal sex crime charges.
The source added, “It has been causing a strain on their marriage since the tape surfaced of Diddy assaulting Cassie. They have had many discussions about how it would play out if Jay were to ever be convicted of anything surrounding Diddy.”

Jay-Z Has Denied The Rape Allegations
Although Jay-Z has not commented on the accusations against Diddy, he has firmly denied the rape allegation made against him.
The claim, detailed in an amended lawsuit, alleged that Jay-Z and Diddy gang-raped the accuser at an MTV Video Music Awards after-party in 2000 when she was just 13 years old.
In response, Jay-Z released a statement saying the victim and the lawyer had initially tried to “blackmail” him with a demand letter to force a settlement.
He wrote, “My lawyer received a blackmail attempt, called a demand letter, from a ‘lawyer’ named Tony Buzbee. What he had calculated was the nature of these allegations and the public scrutiny would make me want to settle.”

The rapper added, “No sir, it had the opposite effect! It made me want to expose you for the fraud you are in a VERY public fashion. So no, I will not give you ONE RED PENNY!!”
The Rapper Wants His Rape Accuser’s Identity Revealed
Recently, Jay-Z, via his lawyers, filed to have the name of his accuser revealed by the court instead of her pursuing the case anonymously.
“Fair is fair,” read the docs filed by the Roc Nation founder, per TMZ. “It is not consistent with justice, fairness, or the rules governing federal proceedings for the Plaintiff and her counsel to smear [Jay-Z] ‘s good name.”
In the filing, Jay-Z explained that he believes the lawsuit was filed because he refused to give in to the “extortionate” demands of the victim’s lawyer.
“Make no mistake this case is about retaliating against the rare target who would not pay,” the rapper’s filing further read.

The Grammy Award winner also argued that if the court does not grant his request, it should dismiss the rape case against him rather than allow it to proceed to trial.
The Alleged Victim’s Lawyer Called Out Jay-Z
In a statement to TMZ, Buzbee responded to Jay-Z’s lengthy remarks regarding being named in a lawsuit filed by an alleged victim he is representing.
The attorney told the outlet that the rapper had “previously denied being the one who sued me and my firm,” referencing an extortion suit that was filed against him by a person who described himself as a “high-profile individual.”
Buzbee also shared that the Roc Nation founder had tried to hide that he was the one who filed the “frivolous case” by using a “pseudonym” in the suit.
The lawyer then defended himself, saying that Jay-Z failed to mention that the “demand letter,” which the rapper claimed was a “blackmail attempt,” did not include any discussions about money.

Buzbee told the news outlet: “What [Jay-Z] fails to say in his recent statement is my firm sent his lawyer a demand letter on behalf of an alleged victim, and that victim never demanded a penny from him.”
