The Former Cheerleader Explained Why She Chose To Quit The Team

Elsewhere in the letter, the former cheerleader explained why she skipped out on many meetings as her relationship flourished.
“I hope you can all understand that my absences were symptomatic of my commitment to put the needs of my other ‘team(s)’ above my own need for recreation,” she wrote. “Selfishly, I would have preferred to be in the gym, with all of you, doing what I love: cheerleading.”
She also clarified that her “inability to prioritize” the team was the reason behind her departure, adding that the “decision was not made suddenly or lightly.”
Still in the emotional piece, the former Teen Miss New England also apologized for bringing all of her “baggage” from her relationship to the team during her stint.

Bill Belichick Recently Clarified That His Girlfriend Is Not His UNC Job

Since Hudson’s departure from her cheerleading team, she has had more time to focus on her relationship with Bill Belichick.
However, her recent interruption of Belichick’s CBS interview raised questions about whether her influence extends into his professional life, including his role as head football coach at the University of North Carolina.
On Tuesday, during an interview with ESPN host Christine Williamson, Belichick clarified that his relationship with the 24-year-old beauty pageant competitor has no impact whatsoever on his current job.
“All the specifics aside, because a lot has come out in the last couple of days, how do you think that that impacts your ability to coach this football team, if at all?” Williamson had asked the legendary coach, per People Magazine.
He then responded, “I mean, that’s really off to the side. It’s a personal relationship, and she doesn’t have anything to do with UNC football.”

UNC Official Says Jordon Hudson Is ‘In Charge’ Of Bill Belichick’s Public Image

Belichick’s claims appeared to be supported by comments from an anonymous UNC official, who shared that Hudson “is in charge” of managing his public image outside of his role as the university’s football team head coach.
“She is very, very involved in the crafting of Bill’s projected image, everything you see on Instagram, all of that,” the official shared, per New York Post.
“I know it’s hard to separate out this image of Bill Belichick and Bill Belichick the North Carolina football coach. But really the football side of Bill and now the public side of Bill have become two different things, and she is in charge of the public side,” they added.
The official also described the dynamics of the arrangement as “odd,” adding that the duo simply “decide what they’re going to do, and they do it.”
UNC Plans To Hire Top PR Chief Amid Bill Belichick And Jordon Hudson’s Drama

The University of North Carolina is reportedly looking to strengthen their public relations department amid the unending drama surrounding Belichick and Hudson.
According to reports, the University is close to securing the services of former Chicago Bears PR chief Brandon Faber as they look to go beyond the drama Belichick and Hudson have been embroiled in.
“Faber is being hired by UNC, rather than Belichick himself. His title is to be determined, but his role will be the de facto head of football communications,” Sports Illustrated‘s Albert Breer reported.
It comes amid reports that the recent stint of controversies has strained ties between UNC and Belichick.
