Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds attract attention during their first public appearance following the TIME100 speech that caused controversy.

Shortly after facing criticism from Megyn Kelly for receiving recognition at the Time100 Gala, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds were spotted showing affection for each other while cheering on his Wrexham soccer team in Wales over the weekend.

A heartwarming photo posted by Page Six captured Reynolds tenderly kissing his wife on the forehead as she embraced him. Another image showed Lively sweetly cupping her husband’s face and giving him a passionate kiss on the lips.

Despite the negative attention, Lively seemed unfazed as she posted a cheerful selfie of the couple on her Instagram Stories the day before, expressing her support for the team with the message, “Let’s go boys @wrexham_afc,” accompanied by a photo of them standing in front of the team’s emblem.

“It’s a ridiculous joke,” Kelly said on the red carpet. “She shouldn’t be here. She has no influence over anything.”

Kelly went even further, accusing Lively of having “launched a fake MeToo allegation” against her “It Ends With Us” co-star and director, Justin Baldoni.

During her emotional Time100 speech, Lively subtly addressed her ongoing legal war with Baldoni by opening up about her mother, Willie Elain McAlpin, revealing that she had been assaulted by a “work acquaintance,” and had spent her life concealing “her raw and undeserved shame.”

“My mom never got justice from her work acquaintance who attempted to take her life when she was the mother of three young kids years before I was born,” Lively shared from the stage.

Without naming names, Lively sent a strong message about resilience, telling the crowd, “Never underestimate a woman’s ability to endure pain.”

She also made sure to thank “every man,” including her “sweet husband,” for being “kind and good when no one is watching.”

Baldoni is staying quiet, at least publicly, following Lively’s emotional speech at the TIME100 Gala.

While Baldoni hasn’t directly responded to Lively’s comments at the star-studded event, he’s certainly making moves behind the scenes.

The actor and director previously denied Lively’s sexual harassment claims and is hitting back with a jaw-dropping $400 million countersuit against Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and their longtime publicist Leslie Sloane for defamation, extortion, and other charges.

Adding another twist to the drama, Baldoni recently launched a website designed to present his side of the story, a move he previously teased as a platform to defend himself against Lively’s allegations.

The site features two main sections: The Amended Complaint and The Case Timeline.

The Amended Complaint outlines Baldoni and his production company’s official legal claims against Lively and Reynolds, detailing accusations of defamation, extortion, and what they describe as “false allegations.”

Meanwhile, The Case Timeline offers a blow-by-blow account of key events, starting from Baldoni’s acquisition of the rights to “It Ends With Us” through to the escalating feud with Lively.
