Blake Lively Sparks Speculation by Fans for Not Wearing Her Wedding Ring

Blake Lively is speaking out, but fans are just as focused on what she wasn’t wearing as what she had to say.

The actress, aged 37, appeared on a talk show for the first time since her ongoing legal dispute with Justin Baldoni began in December. She spoke with Seth Meyers on “Late Night” on Thursday.

Blake Lively discussed the highs and lows she has experienced over the past year. However, viewers focused on a particular detail – a noticeable large cocktail ring on her left hand’s middle finger.

Her wedding ring was MIA, raising questions regarding her family life.

Speculation arose about potential issues in her marriage with Ryan Reynolds as Lively chose to wear this bold ring instead of her wedding band, which she has been seen skipping in the past for fashion-forward choices.

When Meyers alluded to the controversy, saying, “I imagine you’re in a situation where you can’t say anything,” Blake responded carefully but powerfully.

“What I can say without going too into it is that this year has been the highest of highs and the lowest of lows in my life,” she said. “I see so many women around afraid to speak, especially right now, afraid to share their experiences, and fear is by design. It’s what keeps us silent.”

She added, “I also acknowledge that many people don’t have the opportunity to speak. So I do feel fortunate that I’ve been able to… That’s kept me strong and helped me in my belief and my fight for the world to be safer for women and girls. It’s a pretty simple thing.”

The Lively-Baldoni case is set to go to trial in March 2026, but Blake made it clear her top priority is, and always has been, her family.

“It’s no surprise it’s been a pretty intense year and they’re just my lifeline,” she told Seth. “No matter what day I am having, I have to be Disneyland for them. It’s the best, it’s chaos.”

While she may not have been wearing it during her most recent public appearance, her engagement ring has been a hot topic ever since Reynolds got down on one knee.
