Blake Lively is speaking out, but fans are just as focused on what she wasn’t wearing as what she had to say.
The actress, aged 37, appeared on a talk show for the first time since her ongoing legal dispute with Justin Baldoni began in December. She spoke with Seth Meyers on “Late Night” on Thursday.
Blake Lively discussed the highs and lows she has experienced over the past year. However, viewers focused on a particular detail – a noticeable large cocktail ring on her left hand’s middle finger.

Blake Lively Gets Emotional When Asked About Justin Baldoni Accusations
Lively, who shares four children with Reynolds, briefly addressed her turbulent year, which has been dominated by headlines surrounding her legal battle with “It Ends With Us” director and co-star Baldoni, whom she has accused of sexual harassment.
When Meyers alluded to the controversy, saying, “I imagine you’re in a situation where you can’t say anything,” Blake responded carefully but powerfully.
“What I can say without going too into it is that this year has been the highest of highs and the lowest of lows in my life,” she said. “I see so many women around afraid to speak, especially right now, afraid to share their experiences, and fear is by design. It’s what keeps us silent.”

She added, “I also acknowledge that many people don’t have the opportunity to speak. So I do feel fortunate that I’ve been able to… That’s kept me strong and helped me in my belief and my fight for the world to be safer for women and girls. It’s a pretty simple thing.”

Blake Lively’s Rare Pink Diamond Engagement Ring

While she may not have been wearing it during her most recent public appearance, her engagement ring has been a hot topic ever since Reynolds got down on one knee.
The “Gossip Girl” alum’s stunning sparkler from the “Deadpool” actor is a one-of-a-kind light pink oval diamond set in rose gold with delicate pavé accents, and it’s just as bold and unique as the couple themselves.
The two first met on the set of 2011’s “Green Lantern” and secretly tied the knot a year later in September 2012, shocking fans with a surprise wedding and even more surprising bling.
“Ryan chose Lorraine Schwartz to help him find a flawless, light pink oval diamond,” a rep for the celeb-favorite jeweler told PEOPLE. “They worked together to design a custom setting in rose gold and pavé diamonds with a nod to deco.”
While Lively and Reynolds have kept most of the engagement and wedding details under wraps, the “A Simple Favor” star has shown off her jaw-dropping ring over the years, and even told British Vogue in 2015 that it’s her “most treasured possession.”

Justin Baldoni Accuses Ex-Publicist Of Fraud, Leaks, And Conspiracy

Earlier this month, the legal situation between Baldoni and Lively escalated when 14 new allegations were filed against Baldoni’s former publicist, Stephanie Jones.
Baldoni’s team now accuses Jones of breaching her contract, committing fraud, and violating the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, claiming she accessed private messages from his current publicist, Jennifer Abel, and leaked information to Lively.
According to the filings, Baldoni alleges this was part of a larger conspiracy to use a fake lawsuit to manufacture a subpoena and cover their tracks. He’s also suing The New York Times for an eye-popping $250 million over its coverage of the unfolding scandal.
