Justin Baldoni Scores Legal Win Over Blake Lively As Judge Denies Gag Order During Heated Court Hearing

Blake Lively has stepped up her legal disagreement with Justin Baldoni by submitting a revised lawsuit, claiming that two more actresses from “It Ends With Us” are ready to back up her accusations.

However, Baldoni’s attorney, Bryan Freedman, doesn’t seem too worried about the new complaint, as he dismissed her filing as “underwhelming.”

Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni have been at loggerheads publicly since the actress sued her co-star in December last year.

In her updated lawsuit, the 37-year-old actress included fresh allegations, asserting that two additional actresses tied to “It Ends With Us” felt “uneasy” because of Baldoni and are getting ready to present supporting proof.

Nevertheless, Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, promptly rejected the modification, labeling it an unimpressive adjustment lacking significant new proof.

In a statement to TMZ on Wednesday, Freedman criticized the filing, arguing that it relies on “unsubstantial hearsay of unnamed persons who are clearly no longer willing to come forward or publicly support her claims.”

Freedman further stated that Baldoni, along with his publicists and Wayfarer Studios, “has been transparent in providing receipts, real-time documents, and video showing a completely different story than what has been manipulated and cherry-picked to the media.”

Insider Slam The Actress’s Amended Complaint Against Justin Baldoni

In her updated legal complaint, Lively alleged that Baldoni exhibited behavior that made her and two other actresses on set “uncomfortable.”

However, a source refuted these allegations, stating, “Blake is really clutching at straws. She was said to have these smoking guns, and she really has nothing. Her amended complaint is baseless.”

They added, per the Daily Mail: “Bottom line is this, Justin did not harass any other woman on set. There was not one single HR complaint made by any woman – Blake included. If he did, wouldn’t HR be the first place they would go?”

The insider mentioned that Isabela Ferrer praised Baldoni’s professionalism, and Jenny Slate has distanced herself from the situation.

They added, “It seems unlikely that Blake has even one woman that is willing to come forward and go on record to corroborate her claims. In the amended complaint, there are no text messages, emails, signals, WhatsApps, or anything about these alleged women. Justin has receipts. He has factual evidence in his defense and it doesn’t look like Blake has anything to back up her claims.”

Meanwhile, Lively’s spokesperson has addressed the omission of specific names and communications in her recent legal filing against Baldoni, stating that this decision was made to protect the privacy of those involved.

The spokesperson emphasized that “Importantly, however, these victim-witnesses have given Ms. Lively permission to share their communications in the Amended Complaint as they are laid out, and they will testify and produce documents in the discovery process.”

The updated complaint reportedly includes substantial contemporaneous evidence indicating that Lively was not the sole individual to raise concerns about on-set misconduct.

It also alleges the existence of “evidence detailing threats, harassment, and intimidation” directed not only at Lively but also at “numerous innocent bystanders.”

Despite the escalating legal conflict, both parties remain resolute, with a trial date set for March 2026 and no plans for mediation.

Baldoni’s attorney, Freedman, has stated that the allegations have resulted in significant professional setbacks for his client.

During an appearance on the Hot Mics with Billy Bush podcast on Monday, Baldoni’s attorney, Freedman, spoke about the ongoing legal battle and what his client ultimately hopes to achieve.

When asked whether Baldoni’s team had ever considered mediation with Lively’s legal representatives, Freedman was firm in his response.

“No. We are not willing to do anything until Justin is cleared of being called a predator, or a sexual harasser. Until that is determined to have not happened, we will be doing this,” Freedman stated, per the Daily Mail.

Host Billy Bush pressed further, questioning whether Baldoni was more focused on the $400 million lawsuit or seeking financial damages for career setbacks.

Freedman confirmed that the actor “lost a substantial amount of work” due to the allegations but did not disclose any specific projects.

When asked if Baldoni was demanding a public apology from Lively, Freedman, who has represented high-profile celebrities like Robert Downey Jr. and Mariah Carey, clarified: “I think he wants a determination, I know he wants a determination. That he did not engage in the behavior that has been alleged, and that he did not engage in sexual harassment or create a smear campaign.”
