Brittany Mahomes continues to hit the gym in the third trimester of her pregnancy.
Brittany, aged 29, revealed her exercise routine through her Instagram Stories on December 16. She displayed her baby bump in a video where she engaged in weightlifting, squats, and lunges. Her outfit consisted of a lavender set by Vitality paired with white sneakers, while her long, blonde hair was styled in a simple ponytail.
The video was initially shared by Brittany’s trainer, Kirsty Rae, who expressed her enthusiasm for the third trimester of pregnancy in terms of training. She mentioned scientific studies indicating that the body enters a superhuman phase to prepare for childbirth, describing it as impressive.
In a separate video, Brittany captured a selfie by tilting her head to the side during a break. She humorously commented on her pregnancy, stating she felt very pregnant in the caption along with a laughing emoji.
Earlier this month, the wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes posted footage of herself working out in a cheetah print one-piece.
“We workin,” Brittany wrote on December 3, referencing Rae.
She and Patrick announced in July that they were gearing up to welcome baby No. 3. “Round three, here we come,” the couple announced in an Instagram post at the time.
The pair tied the knot in March 2022, two years after he proposed. They are already parents to daughter Sterling, 3, and son Bronze, 2, both of whom appeared in Brittany and Patrick’s pregnancy announcement.
Brittany has been showing off her maternity fashion while supporting her husband at Chiefs games, and with Rae’s encouragement, has offered an inside look at her prepartum workouts via social media.
“Many women experience what’s called ‘mom butt’ during and after pregnancy, which happens when the glutes lose shape and muscle mass,” Rae explained via Instagram in late October. “This is often due to changes in posture and how we move as our bodies adjust to pregnancy.”
In the accompanying video, Brittany could be seen working out to avoid this particular phenomenon.
“By focusing on glute engagement and maintaining strength training, you can actually continue to build muscle,” the trainer added. “It’s all about proper movement, posture, and progressive overload.”
The day before posting her latest fitness regimen, Brittany stepped out on the sidelines of Patrick’s latest away game against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, December 15. She paired a beige puffy jacket, emblazoned with “Chiefs,” with fuzzy earmuffs from Prada.
Ahead of kickoff, Brittany made sure to spend time with Patrick on the field, and they shared a sweet sideline kiss.
“He doesn’t get nervous or stressed at all. That’s just what he likes to do,” Brittany said during an August appearance on the “WHOOP” podcast, noting that she gets more anxious about the games. “I think he loves going into a new week having new game plans, having new challenges, having new people that he’s playing.”
