Next Gen NYC star Charlie Zakkour is known amongst his friends as a ladies’ man — so much so that as a teenager he allegedly dated Lindsay Lohan.
On the Tuesday, June 3 episode of the new Bravo series, Georgia McCann disclosed, “Charlie’s dated quite the range of women,” as she noted, “One of his earliest relationships was with Lindsay Lohan.”
Charlie reminisced on the alleged romance, sharing that Lohan, 38, would “pick [him] up from school” during their relationship.
“Oh yeah, my high school loved that stuff,” Charlie shared with a smirk. He proceeded to exhibit a picture of the duo from their younger years, showing Charlie planting a kiss on Lohan’s cheek.
The timeline of Charlie and Lohan’s alleged relationship remains vague, but considering his upbringing in New York City and penchant for nightlife, it’s possible they may have encountered each other in the bustling city in the early 2000s.
According to Charlie’s Bravo bio, he’s been “ruling NYC’s club scene since he was 14, and he knows everyone (and their secrets).”
Lohan, meanwhile, became a household name at the age of 10 when she starred in Disney’s 1998 hit The Parent Trap. As she transitioned out of her child star era — following roles in Freaky Friday and Mean Girls — Lohan found herself making headlines for her partying ways.
Lohan was arrested in 2007 for a DUI and subsequently checked into rehab. She was arrested again that summer after being in possession of cocaine, driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license. The actress was sentenced to one day in jail, ordered to complete an alcohol education program, community service and put on probation.
After getting sober, Lohan began rebuilding her image and found love with Bader Shammas while living in Dubai. The pair tied the knot in 2022 and welcomed their first baby, son Luai, the following year. (Lohan also returned to acting in 2021 with Netflix’s Falling for Christmas.)
Charlie, meanwhile, has remained on the dating scene and is part of New York’s upper class. His life as a crypto trader will be highlighted on Bravo’s Next Gen NYC alongside several Real Housewives kids, who are now in their 20s and living in the city.
“I’m from New York, born and raised. Super hungover,” Charlie said on the Tuesday episode, introducing himself to viewers. He revealed some of his favorite things are “money and girls and fun.”
When asked about his job and wealth, Charlie explained, “Crypto currency trading is my job.” He noted, “My dad is a retired investment banker, and he makes a f***-ton of money. So I get some money from my dad and I use that to invest.”
Charlie is close with The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Meredith Marks’ son, Brooks Marks, who is at the center of the series. During the season premiere, Charlie revealed he is single and not opposed to dating Brooks’ sister, Chloe Marks.
“Who’s on the roster?” Georgia asked Charlie during the episode. Ava Dash pointed out, “I feel like usually you have someone that you have your sights set on.”
Charlie played coy before responding, “Yeah, Chloe’s cute.” Later in the episode, Charlie and Chloe, 23, do go on a date, and although it goes well, it doesn’t sit well with Brooks, 25.
“I’m not actively seeking love. … If I found the love of my life tomorrow and she told me she was pregnant, I would be nothing but happy,” Charlie told the cameras. “Life is short so f*** it.”
While his relaxed attitude toward women is a hallmark of his character, Brooks revealed he doesn’t like that Charlie won’t stop talking about wanting to hook up with his sister.
“I’m not OK with his disrespecting my sister,” Brooks told their friends, revealing that Charlie texted him after their date and teased that Chloe might already be back at his place, if Brooks wanted to stop by.
Charlie, however, didn’t think he did “anything wrong” with the text to Brooks. “I would f*** Chloe, but I wouldn’t say it to him just to piss him off,” he quipped.
Next Gen NYC airs on Bravo Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET.
