Snoop Dogg’s daughter, Cori Broadus, has welcomed her first child with fiancé Wayne Deuce, announcing that she’s given birth three months early.
Broadus, 25, announced the unexpectedly early arrival of her newborn daughter via a joint Instagram post with Deuce on Friday, February 28.
“The princess arrived at 6 months 🥹👶🏽🎀” Broadus wrote alongside an photo of the newborn’s foot.
Broadus shared in the post about the challenging experience of having her baby girl arrive significantly before the expected due date. She mentioned that the newborn had to be placed in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), emphasizing the emotional journey they were currently on.
Expressing her feelings, Broadus admitted to experiencing moments of sadness and self-blame, wondering if she could have done more for her daughter. Despite these thoughts, she found comfort in her faith, acknowledging that God always reminds her of His presence and support. She celebrated her baby girl who arrived at just 25 weeks, describing her as perfect and thanking God for guiding her through this challenging time.
The arrival comes just two weeks after Broadus shared an update on her pregnancy journey exclusively with Us Weekly.
Detailing her current state of pregnancy, Broadus disclosed the physical strain she was under, noting how simple tasks left her breathless. Despite these difficulties, she shared her joy at the active movements of her unborn child and her anticipation of finally meeting her. She expressed gratitude for the support and strength she had received so far, looking forward to the day she would hold her baby in her arms.
Broadus also raved about Deuce’s potential parenting skills and said she thinks he’ll “be a great dad” once the baby is born.
“I think he’ll be a great dad because we actually raised three kids that weren’t ours for almost a year, and just seeing how he acts. It’s a list of things, but I’m glad God chose him to be my baby daddy,” Broadus said.
Broadus announced she was expecting her first child via an interview with E! News in December 2024.
“I found out October 28,” she told the outlet. “This baby is so unplanned, but we are soooooo blessed.”
She added: “I’m a high-risk pregnancy and doctors were very concerned for me and the baby but God has his hands on me, and me and the baby are doing perfectly fine. I’m having a girl.”
