Criticism towards Lauren Sanchez for wearing a bra at Donald Trump’s Inauguration is unwarranted

Jeff Bezos‘s fiancée, Lauren Sanchez, is getting some backlash because of her outfit choice at Donald Trump’s inauguration on Monday.

Sanchez joined Bezos and many other celebrities to witness Trump’s swearing-in in Washington, D.C.

At first, she was wearing a coat, but she decided to take it off and instead revealed a white pantsuit. This outfit choice displayed her lace bra, which caused some X users to react negatively and criticize her.

Sanchez and Bezos arrived at the US Capitol Rotunda on Monday morning, ready for the day’s activities.

The journalist looked stunning in a lengthy white mohair coat that she fastened in the center. She styled her dark brown curly hair in a loose ponytail, with a few strands left framing her face.

However, after entering the venue, Sanchez took off her lengthy jacket to reveal her inner outfit, a white pantsuit.

Sadly, her lace bra was visible and became the topic of discussion for some X users who didn’t enjoy the sight.

Several disgusted persons took to X to blast Sanchez’s outfit choice, with one person even going as far as comparing her to a “hooker.”

They wrote, “Why does Lauren Sanchez always dress like a hooker? FFS dress appropriately.”

A second person wrote, “Good grief, Lauren Sanchez. Put them away for one day.”

Another X user exclaimed, “Lauren Sanchez is wearing a bra.”

A fourth person lamented, “Just when I was luxuriating in the beauty of @FLOTUS45, in walks Lauren Sanchez wearing only a bra.”

One user of X shared their thoughts, saying, “Lauren Sanchez’s outfit today was completely inappropriate. It’s quite jarring to see a bra so obviously on display. This is not a nightclub event; it’s important to maintain a sense of class and integrity.”

Although Sanchez was criticized for her bold outfit choice at Trump’s inauguration, there were more positive reviews for her on Sunday night.

The 55-year-old stunned in a black Dolce & Gabbana gown when she attended a candlelight dinner at the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C.

Sanchez shared pictures of herself dazzling in her lovely dress at the event, which also had Trump’s daughter, Ivanka, in attendance.

She captioned the post, “Magical evening,” and earned some praise from her followers, who took turns complimenting her.

One person wrote, “Gorgeous,” while another added, “Looking beautiful.”

A third person gushed, “You are so stunning Lauren, wow,” while a fourth fan asked, “How are you this stunning!!????!”

In May 2023, The Blast reported that Bezos and Sanchez got engaged after months of speculation.

The pair started dating in 2018 and have appeared together in public on multiple occasions.

Bezos and Sanchez hooked up after he split from his ex-wife, Mackenzie Scott, with whom he was married for 25 years and shares four children with.

Meanwhile, Sanchez also separated from her ex-husband and Hollywood talent mogul, Patrick Whitesell. They were married for 13 years.

In August 2023, Bezos and Sanchez celebrated their engagement with a lavish bash aboard his $500 million yacht.
