Sutton Foster and Hilary Duff led TV Land’s Younger for all seven seasons before its cancellation in 2021.
The TV show is based on Pamela Redmond Satran’s book about Liza, a 40-year-old woman trying to get back into the workforce post-divorce. She lands a job at a publishing company by pretending to be 26, fooling everyone around her.
Creator Darren Star shared in an interview with Us Weekly in April 2021 that all the characters in the series find their happy endings in the finale. He mentioned that the last episode is filled with twists and turns until the very end, making it an hour-long episode with a satisfying conclusion that leaves the audience content.
