Recently, Dave Grohl has been putting effort into fixing his marriage after facing challenges when news broke that he had a child from an affair.
Now, according to People Magazine, the music star is continuing his efforts to mend his relationship by choosing to spend Christmas with his family.
“They are all spending Christmas as a family,” the insider about the Foo Fighters frontman who is married to Jordyn Blum.
The duo share three daughters, Violet, 18, Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 10, whom they welcomed during their 21-year marriage.
Meanwhile, the identity of the person with whom Grohl welcomed the love child remains unknown, as he has chosen not to share any details.

Dave Grohl’s Band Took A Hiatus After The Love Child Announcement
During the same period, Grohl’s band had to cancel their show at the Soundside Music Festival, which appeared to be connected to the unfolding drama.
Later that same month, a source revealed that the band would be taking a hiatus, largely due to their frontman’s personal troubles.
A source informed The Sun that the band decided to take a break to spend time with their loved ones and concentrate on regrouping. The band has been through rough times, including the tragic loss of their drummer Taylor Hawkins, the passing of Dave’s mother, and now, the arrival of his new child.
The insider also revealed that Grohl fully understands the gravity of his infidelity, which is why he pushed for a break to focus on rebuilding his bond with his family.

The source added, “He wants to be at home and focus on earning back the trust of his family. Being on the road isn’t the best thing for any of them at the moment. It feels like a hiatus is the best thing for them collectively.”

As part of his efforts to repair his marriage, Grohl has reportedly been “going to therapy.” According to an In Touch source, the 55-year-old has also been “sharing phone and text messages” and “constantly apologizing” to Blum since the love child announcement.
“He’s trying to be a good dad but at the same time it’s frustrating and he doesn’t understand that these things can take months, even years to fix,” the source said about the situation.
Another source revealed that Blum gave Grohl a final chance to “salvage” their marriage, prompting the rocker to try to exhaust every possible effort to make things right.

“She gave him an ultimatum to figure it out and he wants to regain her trust,” the insider shared, per the Daily Mail. “He has to focus on her, that will be his best chance at getting back to what they had. Dave is focusing on her needs.”

Although Blum has yet to address her husband’s infidelity publicly, sources left her in a state of indecision about their marriage.
“One day Jordyn Blum is ditching her wedding ring and vowing divorce from cheating husband Dave Grohl,” an insider told the Daily Mail.
“The next she’s at home wearing the ring and sobbing because she doesn’t want the marriage to end.”
