Demi Lovato is in a great place right now — and she attributes her happiness in part to her fiancé, Jutes.
At 32 years old, Lovato expressed to Us Weekly how gratifying it is to be in a relationship where her partner is constantly there to offer support. This bond of unwavering support is particularly crucial to her, irrespective of the ventures they undertake, especially when discussing her collaboration with Caliwater.
Engaged to Jutes, also known as Jordan Lutes, since December 2023, Lovato emphasized how he plays a vital role in assisting her in cultivating a healthy lifestyle.
She further elaborated on how his support extends to various aspects of her life, such as achieving physical wellness goals, maintaining a healthy recovery journey, ensuring proper hydration including the consumption of Caliwater, preparing nutritious meals, among others. Lovato firmly believes that the foundation of a supportive relationship significantly contributes to her overall well-being and success.
The “Confident” singer recently teamed up with Caliwater, a beverage company specializing in cactus water, because she feels the brand really aligns with her health goals.
“I started realizing the importance of hydration a few years ago when I realized I wasn’t drinking enough water,” she shared with Us. “I decided that I was going to jumpstart my hydration journey by drinking more water, but also incorporating more electrolytes, which is why Caliwater is so fitting for me. It is such a great solution to staying hydrated.”
Aside from hydration, Lovato continued to stress the importance of balance when it comes to health.
“You just have to find balance in everything you do, whether it’s with working or resting,” she said. “Rest and recovery are equally as important to working out as the actual workouts themselves.”
The musician noted she feels very balanced after doing a meditation or a morning workout, which normally consists of strength training with her trainer or doing “cardio on the treadmill while watching [her] favorite shows.”
“But workouts are important to me because they help me gain mental clarity and a sense of relief, while also pushing me to be disciplined and intentional,” she told Us, adding that getting the “proper amount of sleep” is also key. “It’s essential for your mental and physical recovery, and it also ties into overall personal health in such a big way.”
Although Lovato has been busy focusing on her health and wellness goals, she also hinted that new music may be on the way soon.
“I’m currently in the studio,” Lovato teased. “I can’t say much more now, but I am excited for the year ahead!”
